Durham Draft Board #2
Durham
North Carolina

Gentlemen:

I should like to advise you of two changes in my status which you will wish to incorporate in your records.

On September 25, 1942, the entire staff with which I am associated was transferred from the Psychological Warfare Branch of Military Intelligence Service to the Office of War Information. My duties remain just about the same, and I even have the same superior officer, but my title and position is now
Senior Regional Specialist (for the Far East)
                     Staff of
                     Operations Planning and Intelligence Board
                     Overseas Branch
                     Office of War Information.

On September 24, my daughter, Johanna Lesley Linebarger, was born here in Washington, D.C. She and her mother are living with me, naturally, at the address given below.

If there is any change in my draft classification, I would appreciate being informed of it.

Thank you for your past courtesies.
Very sincerely yours,

Paul M.A. Linebarger      (Order #492)
